Tutorial on How to Gain Points for Korean Music Shows
(For CARATS only)
MV Views are counted as SNS Points in Korean music programs. Views from the official Seventeen Youtube channel are counted and also includes views from the official 1theK Youtube channel but it is highly recommended that we try to raise the views of the MV on Seventeen's official channel before anything else. While you are at it, comment (with #세븐틴 and #KoreanNameOfTheTitleSong), like and share the video on Facebook and Twitter and also include the hashtags!
DO NOT MUTE THE VIDEO AND/OR SKIP IT. Watch the full video.
Incognito Browsing is recommended when streaming. Clear your history and cache consistently if not viewing in incognito.
You can also open a new tab and view the MV on Melon, Bugs, Mnet and Tudou.
Physical Album Sales & Digital Downloads and Streams
Physical album sales are counted through Hanteo, Synnara and Hottracks, so if you are purchasing an album online, make sure that your purchase will count on one of those three. For year-end awards, Gaon and Hanteo sales are important so make sure you buy from legit sources that report their sales to them.
Digital downloads/streaming are counted through Melon, Bugs, Genie, Soribada and Mnet (Spotify and iTunes are not counted).
First week albums sales and digital download/streaming are the most important for music show wins. So please buy their album(s) and stream their comeback title track diligently through Melon (where music shows get their digital points from) during that first week.
Religiously search up 세븐틴 on Naver.com, Daum.net and Nate.com, ESPECIALLY during the music show broadcasts. You can also search up the members' names in Hangul.
Members' names in Hangul:
에스쿱스, 정한, 조슈아, 준, 호시, 원우, 도겸, 민규, 디에잇, 승관, 버논, 디노, 우지
